Vlad joins the Cowichan Sportsplex with over four decades of diverse leadership experience spanning facilities management, hospitality, operations, IT, and small business ownership. Known as a “culture champion” and community builder, Vlad brings a high-energy, people-first approach to stewarding our 26-acre athletic facility.
Deeply connected to local sport, Vlad serves as President and coach of the Cowichan Valley Athletics Club (CVAC), coach and board member with Cowichan Valley Soccer Association, as well involved with several SD79 PAC’s and planning committees. As Executive Director, he manages daily operations, long-term strategic planning, and park enhancements—working closely with our board, community partners, and local sports organizations to ensure the Sportsplex remains a welcoming, top-tier venue for the entire Cowichan Valley.
