The 8 Lane Rotary Track is a premier track and field facility designed to support both competitive athletics and community use. Originally constructed in 1997, the track was later enhanced with a cushioned synthetic surface, creating a high-performance venue ideal for training, competition, and major athletic events. Today, it stands as a cornerstone for track and field in the Cowichan Valley.
Home to the CVAC Jaguars Track & Field Club, the facility regularly hosts track meets, field events, school programs, and community activities throughout the year. The track is made possible through the support of key partners including the Municipality of North Cowichan, School District 79, the BC Winter Games Legacy Fund, the Rotary Club of Duncan, and the broader community—whose continued contributions help foster sport, recreation, and active living for all.
