The Cowichan Sportsplex is home to three premier baseball diamonds: Carson Field, McKinnon Field, and Island Savings Baljet Field. Each field is professionally maintained and fully fenced, featuring extended backstops, safety netting, spectator bleachers, tournament-quality lighting, and convenient washroom facilities. These diamonds serve as a central hub for local baseball organizations and are also used by a local slo-pitch league, hosting league play, tournaments, and community events throughout the season.
Outside of baseball season, the expansive grass outfields offer flexible, multi-use space for a variety of sports and activities. Soccer, ultimate frisbee, and field lacrosse regularly take advantage of the well-kept surfaces, making the fields a valuable year-round asset for athletes, organizations, and community programs. This versatility ensures the space remains active, inclusive, and adaptable to the evolving recreational needs of the Cowichan Valley.
