Fun, fresh air and fitness at the Cowichan Sportsplex. There are fields for soccer, field hockey, ultimate frisbee & field lacrosse; slo-pitch diamonds, a lacrosse box and a cushioned track; outdoor fitness equipment, a children’s playground and a short walk through the woods. The site is beautiful, well maintained, level and easily accessible. Other amenities include washrooms and ample parking throughout the site. Our fields have tournament quality lighting, so come down after dark and experience sports and fitness under the lights!
The track was first covered with asphalt in 1997. The cushioned synthetic surface was added in 2000, making this 8-lane world class track and field facility ready for competition. Home of the CVAC Jaguars, this is a prized venue for track meets, field sports and community events throughout the year.
Thank you to our major partners: Municipality of North Cowichan, School District 79, BC Winter Games Legacy Fund, CVAC Track & Field Club, Rotary Club of Duncan and the community at large, including 12-Hour Relay participants and contributors.

The venue is fully fenced, with a 5-metre safety zone, covered team benches, ample spectator seating and washrooms nearby. This is the home of Cowichan Field Hockey and their Junior Field Hockey program.

Behind the ball diamonds is a pond and wooded area that our local Rotarians have beautified in many ways. It is now a lovely pathway that winds itself around the pond, over foot bridges and through the native plant and bird life that call this area home.
Thank you to our partners: Duncan Rotary Club and Duncan Daybreak Rotary.
